Rachel and Cole McKinney's Wedding

Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Rachel Jantz and Cole McKinney at the Grand Chapel. Rachel was gorgeous in her antique white fitted sheath gown. She chose a vibrant aqua strapless gown for her bridesmaids. The precious flowergirl, Anna, stole everyone's heart with those big eyes and big promises of throwing the petals down the aisle. She was well-rehearsed beforehand, but when it came right down to walking the aisle, those 275 guests proved to be just a bit too intimidating. Steve Jantz presented Rachel to Cole at the altar after escorting her down the aisle to the Trumpet Voluntary played by trumpter, Don Duncan. Pastors Rick Dages and Alden Dick officiated. By the time they were ready for the "I do's", the wind and temperature had decided to put a damper on our plans to go to the park for pictures, but the beautiful architecture and stain glass at the chapel made for the perfect setting. The reception was a great time for fellowship with friends, who even managed to get a few sparklers lit in spite of the wind to send off the couple in a limousene around 10:00p.m. They will be enjoying a week with their boat on the lake in Austin,Texas. Congratulations Rachel & Cole!
