Kristin Meyer and Phillip Van Court's Wedding Day

I was so excited to photograph Kristin and Phillip's wedding. They have been such a joy to work with! Their engagement session was fabulous. They are so incredibly in love which makes my job so exciting. No posing needed here! Friday evening was gorgeous and they chose to get married at what I call the "perfect" church - University Congregational. Kristin was stunning in her custom made gown and long flowing hair. All of the natural light coming in the windows during the ceremony was breathtaking. Kristin & Phil chose not to see each other before the ceremony which just added to the excitement and anticipation. As they left the church, guests tossed wheat at the couple before they jumped in Phil's truck for a quick ride to Andover's "The Ville" for the reception. There were emotional toasts, a traditional gathering of her Alpha Kai Omega sorority sisters, and 4 very special dances before the guests joined in for an evening of dancing and fun.

Brittney Pennington and Mark Mathew's Wedding Day

Wow what a beautiful day for Brittney and Mark's wedding and Wow, what a beautiful wedding! Brittney chose various shades of purple and lavenders for her maids (4 sisters & best friend Michelle) to wear and carried the theme throughout the event. Dean's Designs created a breath-taking setting for the ceremony at the Arboretum in Belle Plaine adorned with every purple flower imaginable! After the festivities, we boarded the Party Bus and P-A-R-T-Y they did! The reception at the Olive Tree was highlighted by Mark's brother singing a special song for the couple's first dance, and a special long distance toast from Mark's friend in Italy. I can't wait to edit this wedding! It was awesome! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!!!!

I photographed Ryan and Kelly (Goebel) Walker's wedding a few years ago, then had the honor of photographing their little girls as they came into the world. Now, Emma and Avery are so excited (along with mom and dad) that they will have a new baby brother in June! And I'm delighted to continue documenting this precious family as they grow!

Jennifer Butts and Jim Vincent's Wedding Day

Jennifer and Jim's wedding was so elegant. Jennifer was radiant with her gorgeous hair and gown. The pastor was wonderful to work with. The kids were darling. The couple was so in love! Wow, what a perfect wedding to be a part of!

Kate Piotrowski and Eric Slivinski's Wedding Day

There was quite a celebration at the Cathedral on Friday, April 24, 2009 when Kate Piotrowski married Eric Slivinski and we were there to document the day. Kate and Eric had arrived just a few days before from Arizona and stopped by for a quick meeting. It didn't take long to get to know them! They were a blast to work with!
On the wedding day, the Kansas wind even calmed down in time to stop by the park for a few candids even though it was nearly dark. Cathy at the Petroleum Club had everything perfect for the guests to get settled in for the evening. The reception was so festive, especially with the wit of Derek and Lauren who had made a hilarious powerpoint presentation of the couple and their courtship. A choreographed first dance by the couple really got the partying going. I can't wait to hear about the honeymoon in Jamaica!
