Doug and Rachel's Engagement Portrait Session

I had a great time photographing Doug and Rachel down in Old Town. They were quite relaxed in front of the camera and have a chemistry between them that was fun to capture.

Megan Kassick's Senior Portraits

Today was not a typical late-April day but nevertheless, Megan and I met in Old Town for her senior portrait session. With 5" of rain from last night, the ground was soaked so we didn't spend as much time in the park as we did on the streets & alleys. Megan was a real sport when it came to wearing sleeveless and short-sleeve outfits in 50 degree weather! Everything she brought looked great on her and the session worked out great.

Becca Salome's Senior Portraits

Becca was great fun! We had quite the audience down in Old Town shooting during the Wine Fest but she was a good sport about it. I found a great turquoise wall that brought out the colors of her clothes and gorgeous eyes!

Kyle Wood's Senior Portraits

Kyle definately wanted to emphasize his love of western style and bull riding. Mom and grandma were along for the session too, and Kyle changed into his prom tuxedo (bow tie and all!) for a few shots with girlfriend, Courtney at Naftzger Park.

Lauren Hendricks' Senior Portraits

I had a blast working with Lauren Hendricks for her senior portraits. We shot in the studio last week, including some fun times with her sweet dog "Lil Bit". Doesn't Lauren look awesome in red? Then a few days ago I visited Lauren's home and met her horse "Sonny". It was wonderful to see the strong relationship they had and I enjoyed capturing it. Thanks Lauren for your willingness to want some "not so typical" portraits! It was a joy working with you.

Meranda O'Gorman's Senior Portraits

Its was great working with Meranda at Bradley Fair! She had such cute clothes! I told her it was a no-brainer that her favorite color was pink, although she looked great in everything. Meranda had the serious and smiley looks both down pat, so we were able to have a great variety in the collection.

Kristen Tinker's Senior Portraits

Kristen wanted to get just a few shots out of the way to have some wallet photos to hand out to friends and send in graduation announcements. We'll be finishing the shoot in a couple of weeks when the trees green up, but I think we got some great shots in this short session! Kristen, I look forward to meeting up with you again!

Vy Ha's Senior Portraits

Vy and I met at Bradley Fair along with her younger sister, Susan. They had a great time together and I was impressed how well they got along! Its nice to see sisters so close! We managed to find a nice grassy area to get some casual shots in her jeans, went all around Bradley Fair, and even captured a few in her graduation gown.

Caroline Olson's Senior Portraits

Caroline and I had to re-schedule a couple of times due to the weather but we finally got together this week. It was fun catching up on what her sister Elizabeth is doing. I photographed her a couple of years ago. They're both going to be at KU next year along with their brother. Caroline was a delight to work with. In addition to Old Town, we went to the Wichita Swim Club where Caroline has spent half her life competing in swim meets. Photographing her at lightning speeds while she raced down the lane doing the Butterfly was a fun challange.
