Makenzie Koehn's Senior Portraits

I'm so excited to make this quick video clip of a few shots of Makenzie Koehn at her recent senior session! Makenzie came all the way from Dodge City, Kansas with her mom Michelle, and grandma Mary Jane - and a whole SUV full of fantastic clothes! We started at 4:00 and continued at Eastborough Park till it was too dark to take anymore! Thank you Makenzie for being such a great model! I had way too much fun!

Peter Bergkamp's Senior Portraits

Peter's photo session was a nice chance to see his mom Kathleen again after first photographing his sister Ellen 2 years ago. We started downtown, then ended up at their home in the country. I loved having all of the options with the barn, horses, and his beloved dog, Scout. Peter is a polite, genuine guy. Taking his portrait was truly enjoyable.

Luke Leatherman's Senior Portraits

Fun, fun, fun describes my photo session with Luke! We found some great places to stop here and there in Delaware including the old train depot and railroad track. The fall leaves are so beautiful right now that we decided to take a few outside in the park which were such a great contrast with his dark jacket against those beautiful orange hues. I kept wanting to take serious poses but Luke's mom, Annette, said that she wanted him smiling. It didn't take me long to realize that he's such a great friendly guy, and that smile of his says it best!

Sharon Gonzalez' Senior Portraits

I met Sharon a couple of weeks ago in Old Town after their long drive from Hugoton, Kansas for our senior session. She had her brother, mom, and boyfriend along and they were a very fun group to work with! Sharon had great clothes from Buckle and was a quick-change artist between outfits. We ended up going to Bradley Fair for her dressy looks just as the sun was going down. Thanks for coming all the way to Wichita, Sharon!

Preston Kolbeck's Senior Portraits

Preston was a great kid and very polite! His mom Tammy had warned me he wasn't whole heartedly into having his pictures taken but he actually got into it once we got going!
Hope you like the results Preston! Thanks for making it a fun session!

Kara Albrecht & Justin Ballinger's Wedding Day

Wow, this was truly one of my favorite weddings in a long time! I had the opportunity to meet and photograph Kara and Justin last spring for their engagement portraits, but they live in Texas so I've worked mostly with Kara's wonderful mom, Kathleen! We've had several delightful conversations over the months of planning and they made me feel like family by the time the wedding day was here! Kara was stunning in her gown. Moore Flowers created amazing bouquets, and the bridesmaids were all such beautiful girls! The 3 precious flowergirls were all cousins of the bride and definately stole the show! They were all mesmerized just watching Kara, and so adorable walking down the aisle at St. Catherines Church hand-in-hand in their little pink dresses and matching ballerina slippers. After the ceremony, the couple left the church in a shower of rose petals to a waiting trolley. We went to a park downtown for more photos before heading to the Petroleum Club dinner reception. I enjoyed seeing many past clients among the guests, and everyone undoubtedly had a fantastic evening of dancing and fun. Congratulations Kara and Justin!
