Megan Stearman and David McGraw's Wedding

Saturday couldn't have been more perfect for a beautiful wedding at Botanica and that is exactly where we were to capture the celebration for Megan and David. Megan was very detailed and organized throughout the planning, and it showed! From the gowns the bridesmaids wore, to Megan's own shoes - everything was unique and beautiful. Speaking of beautiful, the flowers were litterly breathtaking. Megan and her maid of honor, Sarah, made all of the table centerpieces. After an emotional
"1st moment" meeting, we took a stroll together through the gardens capturing the love that is so evident between these two. The ceremony ended with a shower of petals as they walked back down the aisle. We even managed to slip away to the golf course to get a few shots at sunset, then return for the cake cutting and delicious buffet. Lots of fun and dancing was enjoyed before the couple made their getaway for a honeymoon in Las Vegas. Congratulations to you both!

Paige and Drew Pippin's Wedding Day

Paige and Drew were super to work with and I'm so honored to cover their special day. They are such a beautiful Christian couple with a ton of friends! Paige chose elegant chiffon pale yellow gowns for the bridesmaids and Ivan from Twigs created exquisite bouquets to compliment them. The ceremony was so special including one of my favorite songs "I wonder what God was thinking". The rain cleared off just in time for us to quickly go to Bradley Fair for a few outdoor shots, then back to the reception adorned everywhere with gorgeous floral arrangements and canopy over the cake table. Everyone enjoyed lots of special deserts and a sundae bar before Drew suprised Paige with a limo ride to whisk them off to the Mariott for their wedding night before their honeymoon in Kauai. Congratulations Paige & Drew!

Doug Biggs and Rachel Tranter's Wedding Day

Eastside Community Church was the site for Rachel Tranter to become Mrs. Doug Biggs on June 27th. The wedding party included 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen, 6 ushers, 2 flowergirls, and Elliott was the handsome ring bearer. Following the ceremony, without a sendoff from the guests, we hurried to the Party Bus for a fun ride across town to the Zoo for an outdoor reception under the stars. The band, Lucky People provided the entertainment, and delicious sweet treats from The Sweet Life delighted everyone. Congratulations Doug and Rachel!

Sarah Welch and Jerry Mays Engagement Portraits

Sarah and Jerry met me in Old Town along with Oscar, their adorable dog. We walked around the streets and back alleys and then hopped on over to the Naftzger Park for some nice "family" portraits in the grass. Even with all of those tempting smells of other dogs, Oscar was a little gentleman and looked right at the camera on Q.

Lindsay Youle and JD Hart's Engagement Portraits

Sunday morning was a perfect time for meeting with Lindsay and JD at Bradley Fair while they were in town for the weekend from KC. We had alot of fun before going to Wilson Estates for some great reflection photos near the pond. I'm definately looking forward to photographing their wedding in October!
